The Fusion Tactical Hoody combines the cozy breathability of a mid-layer fleece with the insulation of a micro-puffy and the fit and fishing functionality of our Sol Tactical Hoody. It’s three essential pieces of gear in one. Wear it as a stand-alone high-performance insulated shirt, a burly base layer, or a mid-layer for the coldest days. Expedition-weight waffle grid fleece provides comfort and insulation. Primeflex™ stretch-woven outer shell covers shoulders and sleeves to cut wind and shed water without limiting range-of-motion. It’s also specifically designed to pair with Skwala waders, so you’re protected from the elements and stay warm without overheating.

Montana fall tough

"First time wearing this insulation layer it got put through the grinder. October on the Missouri is always a gamble, but this weekend was atypical for montana. The weather forecast had called for rain turning to snow. Well that is not how it went. It rained all day with temps in the mid 30s with 10-20 mph winds. Needless to say the wading jacket, waders, and insulating layers were all put to the test in the drift boat. Being in a boat in those conditions is alot different then wade fishing. Just can't move around enough to generate body heat sitting in the boat. Or be able to seek shelter from the wind in the trees/brush while wading. The fusion tactical hoody did a amazing job of keeping me comfortable while dealing with those conditions. It got slightly wet throughout the float, but managed to still keep me warm."
