The heaviest base layer we make, it’s 95% hand-selected New Zealand Merino wool. A full hood and extra high collar keep you fishing when things get really bitter. With a fluffy, fleeced wool interior and a durable knit face exterior, this is the shirt that shorn sheep wish they could wear. If they did, they might never grow wool again.

"Quality and texture of fabric is superb! A bit smaller in the arms than I prefer for an XL. I have an Athletic body type and forearms are a little tight, but once I’ve had it on for awhile, it “conforms” better and is not only a great fishing mid-layer, but also looks great in casual settings! Reminds me of what Cloudveil was in its heyday…. . I was on their pro team and was sad when they faltered…… I’m hoping that Skwala stays on this path…. . Simms has decent quality in MOST of there products, but customer service is almost non existent now. More power to you…. . keep on keeping on!"

I live in Idaho and now is winter 20’, 30’s 40’s and it is my go to shirt / layer. The hood / chest pockets are excellent feature. I recommend it to anyone in search of a quality, every day comfortable Hoody. in cool or cold climates. I purchased another one and am looking to purchase a third one.
