When it comes to redesigning essential fly fishing gear, details matter. Anyone can make disposable neoprene sleeves for your feet; we make anatomically patterned, quad-stitched, reinforced wet wading socks that drain water, cushion your feet, prevent chafing, and stand up to seasons of serious use. Built from the same high-quality neoprene we use in our wader booties, Backeddy Wet Wading Socks feature perforated drain holes, abrasion resistant sole panels, and a proprietary diamond weave liner that reduces chafing and improves durability.

• 3mm perforated neoprene
• SP (Strong Pad) Spandex high tenacity warp knit bottom
• Riveted, reinforced gravel guard hook
• Diamond weave interior lining

Essential gear; exceptional quality.

We build the Backeddy Collection to keep you warm, dry, and comfortable across a range of fishing conditions and seasons. If you’re looking for a single apparel system that offers consistent performance in varied weather, this is it. Essential gear systems usually come with caveats: compromised durability, performance, or both. Our Backeddy Collection delivers Skwala-level quality in a kit that covers most fishing situations. Whether you’re gearing up for an annual trip or want to upgrade your weekend angling staples, the Backeddy Collection gives you everything you need with superior design, comfort, performance, and versatility.

Durable; not disposable.

Wet wading socks serve a crucial function in your wet wading kit. Backeddy Socks take that job seriously, keeping you comfortable for years without packing out, breaking down, or needing replacement.

3mm perforated neoprene drains water, so your feet don’t marinate all day.

SP (Strong Pad) reinforcement underfoot prevents wear against boot soles.

Quad-stitched seams for bomber build.

Riveted, reinforced gravel guard hook won’t rip out.

Just right

"Wading socks can be too tight or too baggy. Rarely do you find one that is just right. Throw them on for a quick hour in your nearest creek or wade in them all day. Leave them in your truck bed. These do what you want them to do and they dry quickly too."

Great feel

"Wore these for the first time last week. I was in the river for 4-5 hours and must say they were quite comfortable. They are right and left fit, which makes them have a more precise feel. You can not feel the stitching with your toes, like on my other brand. My other brand left my feet and toes sore from stitching and excess material cramming the inside of my boot."

Works great. Drains well. Comfortable.

"Works great. Drains well. Comfortable. The elastic at the top makes a good seal around shorter light weight boots that keeps the gravel out. I have owned 2 of your competitors product and yours is the best by far. This product was well thought out like your other products."

Perfect socks for wet-wading

"Perfect socks for wet-wading. My last socks didn’t fold over and hook on my boots, so I ended up with gravel inside. These socks integrate nicely with Skwala boots. I ordered the M/L, even though my RS2 boots are size 12. (I also wear a thin sick under neoprene. )"

Great fit. Worked great.

"I don’t know how you do it, but everything fits perfectly. The taper on these fits my thick calves without strangling them."

First Skwala gear I purchased

"I visited the Bozeman showroom and was in need of wet wading socks. I wear a size 11. 5 shoe and wasn't sure if a Med/L or L/XL would fit best. Jack brought out both to try on and the L/XL felt best for me. I struggled trying to pull them on like a regular pair of sox. I decided to turn the inside out and roll them on which was way easier and reversed the process to take them off. I remembered that they're labeled "L" and "R" for a reason--they contoured to my feet and I didn't feel any hot spots develop anywhere after hiking miles of river. The material cushioned and protected my feet, and drained well, and felt durable, I wore them wet wading the Gallatin and Madison for 7 days of fishing and have no complaints."

Love these socks!

"Very nice wading socks. Excellent quality. I like the left and right sizing. They fit very well. Seem to be very well made and should last a long time. So far, so good."

Best I've used

"Best wading socks I've tried! Gravel guard hook keeps sand and gravel out of my boots. My feet felt great after wading all day, no chafing at all!"
