Solid boot, but studs needed for serious wading.

"I've used these boots twice so far, once without studs and once with. I find that they definitely need studs to get traction in the rivers I fish which have lots of large rocks with a layer of mud and algae on them. The boots seem well made and provide good support although they are a little heavier then my "O" brand light weight boots. They fit better than other boots I have worn although I do struggle to get them as tight as I like on the upper part because of the padding in the tongue of the boot."

First trip 👍🏼

"Just finished first trip and boots were great. Took a few attempts to get the lacing right the first day, but the got knack. Like the ease getting in and out with neoprene socks. Three full days wet wading and feet were feeling good."

Carbon Boot

"I can't give you an honest review, as I have not fished in them yet and won't get the chance to do so until late September. I tried them on with wading socks and waders, and the fit seemed fine. I wear a size 12 shoe, and ordered size 13 boots. They certainly are not too large. This is my first pair of rubber soled wading boots, and I am worried about their ability to grip. I know they won't be like felt, but I hope they're not deadly. I have fished with people who spent the whole day complaining about their boots. A couple of them went swimming because the boots had no traction. Hopefully, the newer soles are better."

light wieght perfection in a boot

"the perfect boot for wet wading when you are looking for support of a regular fly fishing boot and not just wet wading shoes. extremely light making the hike to the river an easy one and not feel like carrying weights."

Sean M. (5/5)

Fantastic Fit and Feel

"Going from crocs and socks to the Carbon and Wading Socks was a game changer. No more slip and sliding thru the river and with a great fit the boots are one less thing to distract from the experience."

David S. (5/5)

Excellent boot for all aspects

"Excellent boot for all aspects of fly fishing. Did a lot of hiking into remote locations and wading in deep rivers in Idaho to chase fish."

Chris O. (5/5)

Excellent Wading Boots

"I fish hard, often from sun up to sun down. I wade some difficult streams and hike a long ways. These boots are not only comfortable and durable as wading boots, but I would even consider them to be excellent for hiking. I finally decided to give them a try and now wish I had only purchased them sooner."

Jack M. (5/5)

The Last Boot You'll Buy

"Light, sturdy and just a joy to use. Straight out of the box and to some rocky, willowy, thorny desert creeks without any problem. My feet actually feel better after a day on the water than any boot I've owned."

Grant R. (5/5)

Perfecto!

"Absolutely love these and the light weight. Great for hiking and fishing my Brookie waters."

James F. (5/5)

Quality and all day comfort

"Worn several times now. Fit was perfect with booties when following the size chart. Most comfortable wading boots I've ever owned right out of the box. I mostly walk and wade and these are still comfortable after long days."
