Everything you need, nothing you don’t. The Backeddy Wader delivers the fit, finish, durability, and performance you’ve always wished for in a wader with a clean, efficient design. Two years in the making, this wader delivers unique, thoughtful solutions to complicated problems: Magnetic shoulder yoke attachments eliminate line-catching buckles while still giving you Skwala waders’ renowned ease when getting in and out. Removable knee pads give you cushion for close-quarters streambed creeping on wary trout. A pass-through kangaroo chest pocket provides shelter for chilly hands and features dual-sided zippers to prevent hang ups on oar-handles while rowing. An additional zippered drop top pocket holds your phone or other necessities. We added the popular side dump-pockets from our technical sun hoodies for quick, secure access to tippet, floatant, split shot, indicators, or other small items. Of course, the Backeddy Wader comes with our unique gravel gaiters, incredibly comfortable shoulder yoke system, and the comfort, durability, and quality you expect from Skwala. Wrap all these fishy features with the same bomber 4-layer, breathable waterproof fabric as our RS, and you’ve got the wader you’ve been waiting for.

Advanced Durability

We built the Backeddy Wader with an ultra-dense 100% polyester microfiber face textile for increased durability and smooth comfort; then finished it with a 4-layer waterproof/breathable laminate for submersible functionality. An anti-microbial finish to the interior wader scrim prevents odor and mildew build up. This textile package provides an ultra-durable shell fabric for increased resistance from punctures and tears. The Backeddy Wader was designed for extreme performance, unmatched durability and incredible comfort.

Magnetic, buckle-free, detachable shoulder straps for ease and comfort getting in and out.

Discrete, dual side dump pockets for easy-access storage of fly pucks, floatant, tippet, bear spray, beverages, and other fishing accessories.

A pass-through kangaroo chest pocket keeps hands warm and zips closed to prevent hang ups when rowing. Additional drop top pocket for smaller fly fishing accessories.

Removable foam knee pads for comfort when creeping up on wary fish.

"My first breathable waders after 30+ years of neoprene. Couldn’t be happier with these waders. Very happy with the fit, to include the booty. The material is more to my liking than those of other manufacturers, and I really appreciate the shoulder straps, their adjustability and ease of use. I found that I really like the knee pads and the cuff style gravel guards. The waist belt is held in place by three belt loops and is very convenient for when you either need to pull the waders down or completely off; no worries of losing or misplacing the belt. I have come to be fond of the color, though it does show dirt and/or grass marks easily. Not sure if I can remove the grass marks at this point without affecting the the exterior treatment. 5 stars for me."

First class waders for catching massive Browns

"Bought my first Skwala backeddy waders couple of weeks ago for my fishing trip booked thru ***www.patagonwaters.*** on the Lamiy and Cojjon Cura rivers in Argentina. Best fishing trip I’ve ever been on. Could not be more happy with them. I waded entire day and had to bushwhack to get to my fishing waters and did not get any leaks. They are extremely comfortable and fit great. All the pockets were perfect for the gear I used. I called and ordered them straight from Skwala and the costumer service was first class. Definitely would recommend buying a pair from Skwala."

Features Galore

"All the features you could ever need, but most importantly they keep you dry. Fit for me was tough. At 6’1 the large tall was too much material and the large is almost not enough, but I was able to get a little extra length through the shoulder straps and yoke. Stocking feet are cut great for allowing easy access into wading boots. Front zip pocket is convenient, especially for stashing a phone, pass through pocket will be great for gloves and the side pockets will be great for a water bottle or bear mace. Definitely the most feature packed waders I’ve ever owned. All in all I’m happy I went with Skwala Backeddy waders and I’m looking forward to years of being dry on the water."
